Audi A6 e-tron turn assist
Turn assist can warn of oncoming traffic and brake at low speed when the driver turns across its path.
Turn assist uses the vehicle’s forward-facing sensors to monitor the lane with oncoming traffic when the turn signal is active. When the car starts moving or travels at low speed, the system can warn the driver and apply the brakes if a collision is imminent while turning across the oncoming lane.
The system works within defined operating limits and does not replace the driver’s observation of the junction. Availability varies by market and equipment level.
