The Audi A6 e-tron is available with the Audi sound system or an optional Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System.
Audi sound system
The Audi sound system uses ten speakers, including a center speaker and subwoofer, driven by a six-channel amplifier with a total output of 180 watts. Standard equipment varies by market and variant.
Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System
The optional Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound uses 20 speakers and 830 watts of amplifier power. Four speakers are integrated into the front-seat head restraints. They can provide personal navigation instructions and phone audio while the remaining speakers continue to serve the cabin.
Additional speakers in the A-pillars and midrange speakers in the D-pillars create the height dimension for 3D sound. Vehicle-noise compensation adjusts playback to changing cabin noise, while illuminated Bang & Olufsen lettering identifies the system at night.
