Audi A6 e-tron augmented-reality head-up display
The optional augmented-reality head-up display places driving and navigation information in the driver's field of view.
The Audi A6 e-tron can be equipped with an augmented-reality head-up display. It projects information such as speed, traffic signs, navigation guidance and driver-assistance status onto the windshield.
The projected image plane is tilted forward to strengthen the impression that selected graphics are integrated with the road ahead. Navigation and assistance symbols can appear at a virtual distance of up to about 200 metres. From the driver’s position, the augmented-reality field of view corresponds to a display with a diagonal of roughly 88 inches.
The driver can adjust the display’s position and brightness through the MMI. Availability varies by market, variant and equipment package.
