The Audi Q5 e-tron is a China-exclusive, fully electric, three-row SUV built on the MEB platform. Closely related to the Volkswagen ID.6, it is positioned above the Q4 e-tron in Audi’s China lineup and combines a 2,965 mm wheelbase with six- or seven-seat configurations. Buyers can choose rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The Q5 e-tron had its world premiere on 18 November 2021 and is produced and sold exclusively in China.

Both variants share the same 83.4 kWh (gross) / 76.6 kWh (net) NMC battery and are limited to a top speed of 160 km/h.

The Q5 e-tron follows Audi’s current design language with a clean, progressive SUV profile. The extended wheelbase gives it a commanding presence on the road.

The Q5 e-tron is available with either six seats in a 2+2+2 arrangement or seven seats in a 2+3+2 arrangement. The cabin combines Audi virtual cockpit with an MMI touchscreen, while selected equipment lines add features such as front-seat ventilation and massage functions.

Both variants use the same 83.4 kWh NMC battery pack, supported by the MEB platform’s proven electric architecture. The suspension combines a MacPherson strut front with a multi-link rear, and optional adaptive damping is available.
